Bink Adopted

Sweet, stable frienly giant.

Bink is what we call a "dog-like dog". He is very calm and doesn't like instability. After his previous owner passed away, the home he lived in turned into an unstable home. As a result, Bink started to correct his owner for her behaviour. This, obviously, isn't a nice situation for both dog and owner, so he was brought to a boarding kennel for a while. Because the boarding kennel was full, Bink had to leave, and in Bink's best interest it was decided to put him up for adoption.

In our shelter, Bink immediately showed his calm and funny character. He is very social towards other dogs, although he sometimes shows some macho behaviour towards other male dogs. He walks on the leash like a boss and won't react to any dogs passing by. Bink doesn't appreciate it of people touch his food, and he sometimes corrects this. We are training him at the moment to teach him that it isn't threatening if people touch his food.

For Bink we are looking for a stable home without too many emotional outbursts. A place where he can find the rest he likes and where he can make lots of nice walks. He can be placed with other dogs and with children, as long as they are consequent and allow him his rest.
